Charge 5 - Slashed screen flashing solid to outline of time

I hadn't used my Charge 5 for awhile, but charged it, downloaded updates, and put it on. I use the "Slashed" clock face and the big time numbers keep blinking slowly from solid to hollow outlines of the numbers. Also, only two stats below are shown when it is in the hollow outline screen. How do I get it to go back to the normal, non-flashing, solid numbers, three stats showing screen? Mostly I'd like to get rid of the blinking though.

Thanks for sharing all this information about the clock face on your Charge 5. 

If possible, could you please also share a picture here in the Community of the behavior you described on the Slashed clock face so we can take a better look and further investigate?
