My Charge 5 has been stuck on the logo several times in the past week. Once I was able to follow some instructions, I found that it had me unpair, remove from account, turn off bluetooth, force stop the app, power off my phone, restart it after a couple of minutes, turn on Bluetooth, and re-add the device. It took several tries to get it to work, but it did eventually.
But the next day, it returned to being stuck on the logo, and those instructions did not work. But after a couple of hours, I noticed that the time was showing again, and I was able to re-add the charge 5. Then, the next day, it happened again, and after several hours, it went back to normal, and I was able to re-add it to my account.
Now, it's been stuck for several days. I let the battery run down and recharge, and that did nothing.
I've also done a factory reset several times; the logo blinks off but then stays.

Check the pinned thread at the top of the forum and this thread which was spun off from that one.
You'll need to contact customer service who will walk you through a bunch of troubleshooting which probably won't help (or if it does, it will be temporary). Then, they'll either replace it if it's under warranty or offer you 35% off a new device (does not stack with other discounts), and you'll have to decide whether to throw good money after bad.
If you have a Premium subscription, don't forget to cancel! Fitbit doesn't offer refunds, even if your device is unusable.

How do you factory reset? I have been stuck on the logo for several days, done the pressing 3x button on charger but all that seem to do is blink once. I've un paired bluetooth, restarted pphone, forcestopped app... so frustrating
Thanks for any info!

AFAIK, that 3x button press on the charger cable is the factory reset. Doesn't do **ahem** for me either. I saw something about doing a longer press, but I did over 30 seconds, and nothing happened.
