My Charge 3 died and my husband bought me a new Charge 5 for Christmas. but it WILL NOT pair with my Pixel 3a phone. Apparently they are incompatible? Maybe it's not that my Charge 3 is dead, but that the "linkup" to my phone has been discontinued? What is going on? Is there a way to fix this or should I just return the Charge 5 and change smart watches for good? FRUSTRATED.

@Paige225 what do you mean by sill not pair? What error do you get?
Through the fitbit app, we setup the tracker to the fitbit account, once setup, the fitbit app does the pairing to the phone. The user can not pair the tracker through the phones Bluetooth.
At what step of the setup does the failure occur, any error messages?

Is your Charge 3 still paired to your App and account?
One thing to be aware of is that you can’t have 2 Charge devices linked to the same account.
If your Charge 3 is still connected to your account, you’ll have to do a final sync with it, then remove it from the App and your account. It should then be possible to add your new Charge 5.
I hope that works for you. I was scared to remove my Charge 4 when the time came, but it was painless and all of my data was still there.
