As we can see in the link below, there is no way to set reminders or alarms conveniently on more recent devices. You can't use your app for it. You must use the tiny screen of your device. Worse yet, the alarms set on the device can not be labeled. So there is no way to set a "reminder to do X at time Y" (unless you put every tiny reminder on your calender and set notifications from your calender. I do not want to mess up my work calender with reminders to drink water every 2.5 hours or take my meds at 9 am and 3 pm....)
This is a design choice that is beyond absurd. Why??? Can someone explain the rationale behind this? Do the designers really think users will ever use the low-quality cheap, and inconvenient tiny screens actively as the would do on phones or smartwatches??? These tiny screens are for seeing summaries of output, NOT for inputting data. We have phones and apps for that.
I was excited to use Charge 5 but now I want to return it. This kills off a big chunk of the utility I hoped to get from Charge 5. Completely absurd....
