The pool is 20m. I always swim breast stroke. I don’t pause during the swim - touch the end turn round and kick off into the next length. The length count is usually wildly inaccurate. Always less than the actual - eg today 44 instead of 50.
The distance is recorded accurately for the inaccurate number of lengths. Today it was 880m.
