Charge 5 and Fitbit app heart rate discrepancy

I did some exercise, I saw on my device that I hit max heart rate over 140.  However, when I check the Fitbit app on my phone later, the max heart rate was only 128.  Please fix this.  I know the device was correct because I could feel my heart pumping.

Before considering other options, I would recommend performing a restart and to follow all the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar. 

 

In addition, in case the problem is related to the app, please follow the steps listed here below: 

 

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings. 
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your information properly.
