Charge 5 band latch broke during sleep

Hello,

I went to bed for an early shift this evening and set my Charge5 to monitor my sleep. I woke up after only three hours and was no longer wearing my Fitbit. It had fallen off my wrist while I slept and when I looked it over it turned out that the plastic latch that connected the band had snapped off. I had just received the device yesterday and it has already broken in such a way I can no longer wear it. Support sent me an error message when I went to contact them. Thought that the support would be available to receive inquiries 24-7 even if they may not get back to you right away. I suppose I was wrong. Concerned and confused that the device would break within the first forty eight hours. If anyone else has had this happen please let me know if the company was able to help.
