Charge 5 bands - excessive burning

I'm havings problems with the charge 5 bands. Im presently washing it everday but the the burn on my wrist continues to be problematic.  

I have tried wearing it on other wrist but am continually hitting thr furniture with it. Not ideal.

Any suggestions?  

I have a bag of charge 3 bands in various colours but, of couse, they do not fit the charge 5

If you're not concerned about the heart rate feature, you can always get a clip and wear it that way. Some people even put the pebble portion down their sock or in a pocket to keep track of their steps.
