My Charge 5 is no longer tracking heart rate--the LED lights are no longer flashing.
I have tried turning heart rate off and on again in settings and restarting the Fitbit, as well as syncing after turning it on and off before restarting. Nothing has worked so far. Also, instead of lasting a week, the battery suddenly only lasts for a day or two.
I had turned on the water lock and gone for a brief swim before the heart tracking stopped working. Had the red 'X' in a circle but restarted it using the charging cable.
My mobile syncing device is an Android.

I tried clearing all user data. The LEDs came back on, and it began tracking heart rate again, but it only lasted for a day. Tried clearing all user data again, but it is still not tracking. I think I will have to see if I can still return it. I think this Charge 5 is my last Fitbit--if I can't get it working, that's it.

Talked to Fitbit support. They are sending me a new Charge 5.
