I am also seeing battery drain. Plus. watch at  night (not sure when) has stopped tracking my sleep, heart rate, resting and erases all records of previous day.
It used to automatically track my overnight sleep that would sync the next morning, but the last few days everything changed. Previous days are still recorded on cell app. Help please
Device is always fully charged before I go to bed

Also, if I reset Fitbit, recordings start up again of steps and heart. But again at night, data is lost and Fitbit stops recording.

Hello @Chuck.OBX

Is your Charge 5 tracking your heart rate properly during the day?

Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 5? That's the heart rate sensor, which is needed for sleep stages and sleeping heart rate. To check for the green light, place your finger across the back of the device. You should see the light when you lift your finger.

If you're not seeing the green light, you can check to see if Heart Rate got accidentally turned off.

  • Swipe down from the clock face until you see the Settings tile, then tap on Settings
  • Swipe up until you see Heart Rate. If it's not turned on, tap on it to turn it on

Regarding the battery drain: When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery drain, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I noticed the battery% had a big drop, I restarted my device then put it on the charger, often doing this multiple times in a day. This process eventually got my Charge 5 "unstuck" and the battery life went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work, it might be worth a try.
