Charge 5 battery draining quickly

Tried everything to get this to hold the charge. Nothing works. I guess after18 months it is garbage.. not good.

Yes tried everything.. It is a charge 5. I have done the battery reset a muliple of times. I followed all the steps and still the same issue. I am going to change the clock face, but do not think that will correct the issue. We will see. According to many in this forum with the same issue it is because of the latest firmware update.

When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth a try.

Yes 3 times each day and for 3 days so far.

Agree. Whatever software changes google  made ….despite eliminating features we all love ….is now a battery suck .  Fitbit is not what it was 2 years ago.

Still nothing.. Did everything .. I guess thats it. Probably will not buy another.
