Yes, this is the same complaint as so many on this site. I have tried all of the steps that have been outlined in other posts on the subject, including multiple restarts in a row, a factory reset, logged out of the app and back in, re-paired the fitbit, etc.
I'm really here to say that I'm tired of this poor customer service from GOOGLE and to say that I very likely won't be back. I'll purchase from another company from now on. All the best to the employees here that I'm sure are struggling to try and put a good face on these problems and have to deal with what I'm sure are a bunch of irate customers. You've been let down by your company. I've been let down by your company.

Hi, @smullins3000 , welcome to the community, have you reviewed Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center ? I use rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl 70%) to clean the back of my Charge 5 with cotton wool & a cotton bud to detail the gold contacts. Warm soapy water will do the job if you do not have any rubbing alcohol. Take a close look at the two little pins on the charge cable puck, they should be equal and free (they are spring-loaded) If you are still stuck contact "Customer Support" as recommended in the link above, use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response.

They said it's discharging quickly. Not that they can't charge it.
I'm in the same boat and I'm tired and furious.

What Superficies said. It drains insanely fast, it doesn't have trouble charging.

Mine has the same issue. The clock face does not dim at all.
