Hello,
During the week my fitbit charge 5 died it started glitching, battery drained quickly..Now I have a red light on the back, no amount of resetting the device has worked, all the steps have failed.
The kicker here is I have spoken to support, I was sent this charge 5 less than 2 years ago as a replacement under warranty for the previous which was less than a year old and did the same thing
I'm being told by "support" that my warranty expired October 24. I've been offered a 35% discount which again is admitting that this item is defective. 2 years on the replacement is not long enough for an item like this to last. It has never been in water(even though it should be able to get wet)
Fitbit seem to be completely ignorant that European consumer law supercedes their own internal warranty policy and are refusing to even attempt to repair the item. This new replacement has died within 2 years and that is unacceptable.
I am posting on here as I got my replacement through here in 23 and people were helpful. Hoping someone here will see sense and direct this to the correct person to issue me with a replacement and show some fairness and credibility."

Mine did the same thing. They offered me the same discount. My Anthem Medicare got me an Inspire 3. But will not offering them any longer. Good luck getting it fixed. I may need Charge 5 fixed if I don’t find my Inspire 3 I’ve lost it. 😢
