Charge 5 battery is draining quickly after the update

Had my charge a few years, wasn’t holding great charge. Did update and now won’t hold at all. Chat bot even did tests and shoes dies within 2 hours of a full charge. It’s a joke now and no solution to this, reading online so many problems now. don’t have the money to replace either

I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling. @Itchybuzz Thanks for stopping by here and letting me know you also are having issues with your Fitbit device. 

I've seen you both have contacted our Support Team after posting here and they've already assisted you. If you have any questions regarding the outcome of your case, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team again. It seems like you have exhausted all troubleshooting steps we could've provided here so there's nothing left we in the community can suggest other than reaching out to our team again. Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly.

Has anyone replaced their Charge 5 under warranty and NOT experienced any issues with the replacement? My battery stopped holding a charge since the firmware update and mine is still under warranty. I fear, however, that any replacement they send me will just end up with the same issues. Has anyone experienced differently?

It sounds like you dont want the community of fitbit users to post about issues that so many of us are experiencing with our Charge 5 devices since the most recent firmware update... 🤔
