I flew from Pittsburgh to Dallas yesterday, my charge 5 was fine before i got on the plane.
When i landed I noticed the screen was black and no matter what I did I could not get any thing to show on the display.
I got back to the hotel and was able to hook it up to a charger and tried all the tricks with the button on the charge cable.
It seemed ok then started buzzing every few seconds and the display would freak out and show the fit bit logo then go black again...
I left it on the charger overnight, but that did not seem to help.
Tonight at the hotel I did all the tricks with the button on the charging cable again, and it seems to working again sort of, there is no light on the back of the watch and no heart rate display, also will not synch with my phone.
Any ideas oh how to get it working again - or is it just junk at this point?

Welcome @PghJag to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with the issues of your Charge 5. Thnank you for all the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.
Please ensure to restart your device by following the instructions below:
If your device is syncig to the Fitbit app, attempt to change the clockface. sometimes this procedure fixes this kind of issues. See How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
In addition, if your device's battery lasted less that 7 days, see if you are using a feature that demands too much energy. Using features such as always-on display and GPS require more frequent charging.
For tips on how to extend your Fitbit device's battery life, see Extend your Fitbit device's battery life > Tips to extend your Fitbit device's battery life. I appreciate your time in this process.

Hello @PghJag
The green light is the heart rate sensor. Since you're not seeing it on the back of your device, that's why you're not seeing heart rate on your Charge 5.
Have you had a chance to check the Settings tile on your Charge 5 to make sure that Heart rate is still turned on?
