I have an out of warranty Charge 5. The metal rounded rectangular bezel around the sensors on the back side of the watch has fallen off (maybe from too much sunscreen and sweat around the wrist). There looks to be a very thin foam/rubber-like piece under the bezel but it can't be reattached as it is rather worn, so I have left this piece and the bezel off the watch for now. This happened 3 days ago. I wear my Charge 5 to bed to track my sleep and noticed the app no longer provides any sleep information at all and there is no sleep score. The step counter is partially working but the app only displays the total steps taken each day. When I click to view the chart with daily steps, it says "there is no date in this chart". I have removed and reconnected the Charge 5 to my phone but don't expect things to improve. I called Customer Support but there is nothing they can do. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I was thinking of using a tiny drop of superglue to reattach the bezel (without the worn rubber piece).

Thanks for this suggestion. I searched and watched a few videos on how to remove the screen, replace the battery, etc. but nothing about the rear plate, ring, or bezel that has come off. I also searched this community site (i.e. Charge 5 plate, Charge 5 ring) and saw others with the same problem but no real solution. Fitbit will only provide a 35% discount on a future product, they cannot and do not repair this defect. I will try to use E6000 glue to get the piece back on and hope it works.
