I’m in the UK. The screen on my Charge 5 went black today. The app says it needs a firmware update. Trying this I get to the Update your Charge 5 screen- the one with the moving pic saying to connect your Fitbit to the charger. Having done that, when I tap on the “Update” button it doesn’t respond and also I can’t go back a screen either. It’s just frozen. My app is fully up to date and my Fitbit is fully charged. I’ve tried resetting my Fitbit, switching Bluetooth on and off and deleting and reinstalling the app. Nothing works. Still a black screen and a Fitbit I can’t use. Seems like the app is the first problem. Anyone got any suggestions please?
