I have done everything to reboot, reset Charge 5, fully charged and black screen still. So frustrating! Is watch dead? Looking for confirmation so I stop fighting the battle of fixing.
*Watch was not abused, regular wear. Was not in water. Didn't do anything that would cause this!

Thank you for taking the time to share the inquiry regarding the Charge 5 and the attempts to fix it on your own. Sorry to know the difficulties that you are experiencing.
I'm not sure if you tried to change the clock face since you didn't mentioned it.
If changing the clock face doesn't resolve the issue, please Sync in the Fitbit app by tapping the upper left corner > Device > Sync Now.
Now please, try one more time to restart the device as indicated here: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

That didn't work either. Can feel the buzz, but nothing on the face!

I contacted them and they told me if reset and update, change clock face etc didn't work it was toast. Unfortunately just past warranty. But try calling or chatting with support and who knows?
