Charge 5 blank display and now not charging

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Display has been blank for two days and I tried to reset it with the charger (hit button on charger 3 times) and I also tried to change the clock and nothing has helped. Now it keeps on losing the charge and going to 1 percent. This is the second time this has happened to my charge 5 ( this issue happened less then a year ago in august 2022) and they sent me a replacement. I have tried everything to fix this problem and contacted support again but we can’t seem to get it working. This seems to be a constant reoccurring issue with the charge 5…. I was hoping they would be able to fix this or replace it but it doesn’t look like either is an option. I have been a Fitbit customer for a really long time and now I am wondering if I need to try a different product/company…..

Hi, @Hayleyfitness & @Ieva.ruggeri welcome to the community, allowing you have tried to restart your device & change the clock face via your Fitbit app on your phone without making any progress I recommend you talk to "Customer Support". @Hayleyfitness you should contact them again. Use the Chat facility or phone for a prompt response, before you make your call it's a good idea to make a note of the steps you have taken and the result, Note when & where you bought your device as you may still have the benefit of the warranty

I hope this helps.

Cheers

I have contacted support multiple times by chat and then responded to the email they sent me with the 35 percent off coupon. Why would I spend money on a product that keeps on breaking on me. So many people are having the same problem with the charge 5. If they don’t respond quickly with a replacement then they will be losing a Fitbit customer. I’m already looking at Apple Watches.

Currently experiencing same issue. Watch 4 months old. I've reciept for warranty, but what is the point. It seems to be a fault common to charge5s.
