Charge 5 blank screen

My Fitbit began acting weird where the screen went white and did not always display. However it vibrated when I received notifications. The screen started working again, and now the screen is totally blank and black. It still vibrates for notifications though. I’ve tried syncing, checking for updates, and restarting but nothing is working.

Please restart your Charge 5 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Sorry but welcome to the club and realize you are not alone! There are a whole bunch of us here with the same issue for a while now. They will tell you to restart it but I have not seen one case where this actually worked. 

Maybe we should start a therapy group or something?

Same issue- my device is only a few months old. It just went blank.
