Charge 5 blanking out when i go to pay for somethingg

I've had my charge 5 for about 2 years. Recently I added my debit card and updated Google wallet to use on my watch. When I go to pay (after putting in the pin number) the screen goes black and then it won't come on again. I have to reset it with the charger to get it to turn on again. Can I get some help please.
