I updated firmware of my Charge 5 to last and updated firmware of my Galaxy Z Flip 4 to december security patch, but tracker can not connect to phone. I waiting more then week at this time i tried another trackers of Huawei and Xiaomi and the trackers had connected to my phone without problem. At the end i connected Charge 5 to my tablet Galaxy Tab S7 without problem. I see everything can work with my phone, except Charge 5 and Charge 5 can work with everything, except Flip 4. What is going on? Must i drop Charge 5 and maybe all products of Fitbit? How many time will i wait for solution of the problem?

Hi, @mmishka , Fitbit has identified an issue syncing devices running Android 13. They are working on a fix and it is expected in “early 2023”. Please make sure your Fitbit app is kept up to date to make sure that you have the fix as soon as it is available.
In the meantime you can continue to use your Fitbit tracker syncing via your tablet. It should continue to work properly to track your activities etc. unfortunately until it is able to connect properly to your phone you will not be able to get notifications on your Charge 5.
Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

By "early 2023" how long are talking about? A day, a week, a month? This is kind of ridiculous.

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to share your experience with this.
As some of you mentioned earlier, Samsung has released a new update that has been helpful for many users to resolve the problem to sync with Flip and Fold models. Make sure to update your Samsung device to the latest OS version available. You can find more information about this issue here.

I found that Fitbit does not prioritize making their devices work with Android devices, particularly samsung. Samsung makes all specs available to companies like Fitbit and it's up to Fitbit tech team to push out updates to their watches. If bluetooth is compatible it shouldn't make a difference however for some reason with Fitbit it does. As I get a new phone approximately every 18 months I repeatedly find my Fitbit devices are unable to connect with Samsung. Because of this I do not purchase any Fitbit assets any longer and instead elect for other motion tracker devices. You may wish to consider doing the same.
