You people at Fitbit do realize people sometimes go where there's no cellphone signal right?
We don't spend out entire lives in the concrete jungle of a city.
I understand that I wont be able to sync my data with the cloud when i'm offline. But there is no good reason why I cant sync the phone in my hand with the watch on my wrist when I'm not online.
I was out camping for a while and didn't have signal. As a result the device is basically useless. It wasn't even good as a watch because I the time/date somehow got off and I couldnt sync with my phone because of no internet. What good is a watch that cant have the time/date set without being online?!?!
Seriously... I know you want to harvest our data to sell, but is it really too much to ask to let us fix the time/date our device with our phones without needing to be tethered to the internet? You can harvest my data to sell on once I'm back home and online.
This is without question the worst device I've ever had from FitBit I've owned every Charge device you've made. This will most likely be the last thing I ever buy from you. This new always-online requirement is the a bridge to far for me. At this point I want to return this piece of garbage and go back to my Charge 4.

Sorry @q5sys your in the community forum, preaching to the community of fitbit users who have been asking for this option. Especially t use out on ships.
You could add your vote to the request for manual time setting
