Charge 5 charger repelling band

Anyone know if there is a fix for this? I've owned my Charge 5 for almost a year now. Today when I went to charge it one side is being repelled by the charging port. I can manually squeeze them together but my band won't show as charging.

Could your charger or tracker have been exposed to a strong electromagnetic field, which might have reversed the magnetic polarity?

Possibly. Not sure when it would have though? I do have a shut off on my car battery. It makes kindof a zap sound then I can hear the fuel pump prime. I wouldn't think that would be strong enough to change the polarity though?  I've done that atleast 6 times in the last 6 months. This is the first time my watch was completely dead when I got home though. We also live near a ham radio station, again can't imagine that's the source just trying to think of any magnetic interference I might live near?

No, it would have to be a pretty strong magnetic field and quite close to do this. I am just poking at possibilities. You could try customer service to see what they have to say.

You could try buying a new charging cable online, but there is a 50/50 chance the charging cable is the issue.

I wish I had better options for you.
