Why di you put a cheap rubber band on the Charge 5. It may be good for most people but when I put my in one notch it doesn't register my heart rate on a regular basis. When I make it one notch higher it is too tight and causes pain and blisters. After a while the the band started to crack and now I can even wear it on my arm.

Hello @cando69
Sorry to see you're having problems with the wristband on your Charge 5.
Like you, the wristband doesn't work that well for me either. I got an inexpensive 3rd party metal mesh band with magnetic clasp that I like better. It's easy to adjust and looks a little nicer than the band that came with the Charge 5. The disadvantage of the metal mesh band is that the magnetic clasp sometimes attaches to metal items, like tableware. It's a small annoyance for a better fitting and looking band.
You can submit a claim for your cracked band on the Fitbit support site (<-- click link).

Totally waste of money. My charge 5 is completely out of order just after warranty period of one year. I lodged a complain but fitbit refuses to do anything.
