Click face only displays 5 dots across top, middle one is green. Reset many times, no change. Notifications appear fine… but still no clock face. Tracks and updates on phone app are apparently ok, but cannot see info on clock face. Is this device kaput…or is there a fix to regain clock face?

Sad to hear that your Charge 5 doesn't work as expected. Please try if changing your device's clock face will fix this issue:

Please always make sure that your phone and your Fitbit device are within Bluetooth reach when changing the clock face and keep them near each other until the new clock face is installed.
