Charge 5 completely dead and won’t charge.

My charge 5 is completely dead and won’t charge. I have tried two different chargers, multiple usb plug-ins, and multiple wall sockets. I’ve cleaned the points of contact on the Charge 5 and the charger with alcohol and let them dry. I’ve pressed the button on the charger 3 times in 8 seconds — multiple times. I can’t disconnect the Charge 5 on the app and then connect it again — because the Charge 5 is completely dead. 

My first Charge 5 got stuck on the intro screen when it was less than a year old, so Fitbit sent me a replacement. That was less than a year ago. I need the Fitbit to monitor my heart rate and potential A-fib. Please help!

The exact same thing happened to me last week. I've done everything. I've contacted customer support multiple times. So far no resolution. I'm sorry this happened to you

Alice Gyer1,  I've had the exact same problem and have used the same remedies with no results.  I even borrowed a friend's charging cord to see if the problem lies in the charger.  Yes, the charger worked on his,  yet wouldn't work on my Charge 5.  So, my Charge 5 is still dead.
