I know this subject is already in the forum but I want to make sure these issues are documented. Charge 5 battery won’t hold a charge. From 100% to dead in less than 30 minutes. This issue surfaced overnight for me, no troubles prior. I thought maybe the battery was at the end of it’s life but seeing so many others with the same issue I don’t believe that is the case. This is definitely a software issue.
I have used Fitbit products daily for 8 years without issue. Now my device is useless. It’s so sad how something I have enjoyed and found useful for so many years is now just gone.

There is no option apparently except offering users like myself a 50% discount on a new device. This is not what I want. I do not want a new device. I want mine to work correctly.
The support team makes it seem like this is all a coincidence that all these devices are starting to have issues. This is not a coincidence. Not with this many devices having issues.
I’m guessing what happened is that Fitbit sent out a faulty software or hardware update that ruined all these Charge 5 devices.
