Charge 5 device change language

I am in Japan.

My app is in English, and I changed the website dashboard language to English, but the device is still in Japanese. When I first set it up it was in English, but then I clicked a big red "update language" button that appeared and it switched.

 

I also have an Update Available message almost every day it seems.

I push next, scroll, get the is "Charge 5 powered on message" then it is Searching for a while. Then Loading. Finally it seems finished, but then there is another Update Firmware message again!

Hi @TinJ - it seems your tracker may not be syncing properly. Have you tried logout of the app on your phone and restart both phone and watch and then sync.

If you are using multiple devices try turning off the Bluetooth on the other device before the restarts.

The language issue is fixed, but I still get an update firmware message.

@TinJ  - thanks, it isn't necessary to apply the firmware update unless your tracker is not working in some way. 

So if you are happy with the way it's working possibly better to enjoy it rather than risk the possibility of introducing a problem.

I didn’t see your message until now. That update message is pretty prominent and looked important.

Turns out it has now updated and is back to Japanese. This was done without me changing the language or location settings.
