My fitbit at Midnight on May 28 failed to clear the data from the previous day with regards to Steps. So May started off with the total steps from the previous day and is adding to those steps. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi, @rgillanders this can happen very occasionally if for some reason the Fitbit doesn’t “see” midnight, for whatever reason (for example if you were upgrading your device around midnight, or if it suddenly froze just at the wrong moment, and then recovered again just after midnight. Please be assured that this is a pretty unusual event, and since the forums are not full of people reporting this issue yesterday or today I think it sounds like an isolated incident.
When the Fitbit is not functioning, or being upgraded, just at midnight, it does not get the signal to reset steps to zero and in that case they are carried through to the next day. Unfortunately there is no way to correct this when it, rarely, happens. However I expect you will find that it is all working normally again now, but do please post again in the unlikely event that this recurs.
