Charge 5 didn't sync my active minutes after the update

My charge 5 synced perfectly fine this morning and then this afternoon when I worked out I noticed my watch was updating but the app wasn't. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting I saw on these message boards and it started syncing but completely missed my afternoon exercise from the active minutes.

I don't really care about tracking exercise I only use the active minutes so this is really frustrating.

Hello there, @edon1. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your data. I understand how you must be feeling.

We are not sure what might have caused this, but we would expect this to be one glitch and I would ask you to keep an eye on your Charge 5. In case this happens again, please let me know and I will be glad to further investigate.

On a side note, please note there's no way to retrieve your active zone minutes alone. Though, if you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, check the article Can I add an activity manually to the Fitbit app?

Thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about allowing Fitbit devices to manually log AZM. We rely on feedback like yours to help us develop products and features that we know our community wants to see. I'd suggest adding your comment and vote to this feature: Able to manually log Active Zone Minutes. If this suggestion receives votes from other customers and gains popularity, it will be shared internally with various teams at Fitbit. To learn more about how Fitbit decides which suggestions get developed, visit our FAQs.
