I’ve had the charge 5 for just over a year having received it as a Christmas present in 2022, i have had no problem with the tracker up to this last weekend when it died on the night following an upgrade.
No response to anything I tried, I followed the advice on the community and tried to reboot with the button on the charging cable, no life in the tracker at all. Anything else that can be done?

To follow on from the above: Out of curiosity I ran the ‘Forget this device’ on the app and tried to pair it again. Surprisingly I followed the steps through to the ‘enter the four digit pin’ on the tracker screen. Unfortunately as the screen is still black I wasn’t able to progress beyond this stage.
My thinking now is that the app update has caused the screen to switch off completely.
Does anyone now of a fix for this

This has happened to me.
Mine has a red circle and white cross inside.

I had a similar experience a couple of days ago.
When the Charge 5 runs into problems it often seems to eat through remaining battery charge at 20x the normal rate.
You might find that leaving it on charge for a couple of hours before doing the three button presses brings it back to life.

Connect it to the usb cable. Then press the small button on the flat end (that plugs into the cube) 3 times with a 1 second pause between each. That should reset the watch. I had the same issue and it worked.
