Charge 5 dies immediately and reset doesn't work

My fitbit charge hr 5 has been charge 5 was working perfectly, holding a charge for 6-9 days. However, on Feb 20, 2025, I fully charged it and the next day it was dead. I have fully charged it again, did the same thing, only was dead within an hour this time. I have done the reset, multiple times and it is still not working. Bought this in July 2023. Is there a known issue that would cause this?

Mine died today and will not restart I have tried multiple times and still nothing

Same here. Mine suddenly won't hold a charge. Started yesterday. It charges fast and discharges even faster. I've restarted my watch on the watch and the charger a dozen times.

Since it sounds like you've already tried the recommended troubleshooting, the next step would be to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.

Depending on how long you've had your Charge 5, you might have some options under warranty.

Yep, I did that next. Out of warranty but they offered 50% off any Fitbit
so that was good

I just read on line that Fitbit are discontinued and google will keep supporting Fitbit watches until 2025 but I think the last update are killing them so you go to their product
