I had the charge 5 on my left wrist, usually I have it pushed higher up on the wrist. It slid down my wrist as I was washing my hand. I thought it was okay since it was advertised that people could swim with these things. A bit of water went over the screen and between where my arm and the fitbit and it stopped working. It shows a black screen that is non responsive. When I plug it in the blue logo shows up but nothing else happens.
Really frustrated that this watch has such low tolerance for water, a bit of water from the faucet kills it. Also really upset it was falsely advertised, I would have never purchased this item if it was so water sensitive.

Welcome to the community, @beban.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the display of your Charge 5 after washing your hands with it.
By any chance, do you see condensation in the Charge 5? Also, please, respond and follow the next:
- Are the LED lights on the back turned on?
- How long did you charge it?
- If you have not charged your Fitbit recently, we ask you to try charging it for 2 hours.
- When you connect your Fitbit device to the charging cable, does it vibrate?
- Did you try the steps in our support article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
