My Fitbit 5 just stopped altogether - display dark. I tried the restart procedure so many have described (press button 3x time....) - well I can feel the Fitbit vibrate, but the display stays dark - I have tried this x time now, no improvement, tried to update the firmware, but couldn't - no option on the app
I removed the device from the app to re-establish the connection - mistake, because now I can't see the PIN number needed on the device to connect
What would be the next step? Or is it completely gone 😞 it's just 1 year old

i have the same problem exactly. contacted customer service. Tried all the fixes with them and they couldn't help. Said they would send me to a different "department " and would get an email from them shortly. I got the email which said it was out of warranty BUT they gave me a %50 coupon for US ONLY. I live in Canada and phoned the Canadian phone number on their contact list. If only 1 year call customer service, you might get lucky. they did replace my Fitbit 3 when it was out of warranty for the same issue.

I pirchased my fitbit Charge 5 a year ago tomorrow. A couple days ago it started vibrating, the screen went black and hasn't turned on since. I tried to restart and change the clock face with no results. 🥺
