Have just returned from holiday and cannot get the Fitbit to display the correct time. I have changed the time zone to London, but nothing doing!

@Pennyp0033 , your Fitbit must sync in between each time zone change! It will not work otherwise. Have a look at your app and check the time of the last sync.
You should definitely perform a restart on your Fitbit (instructions here if you need them). A restart is the very first troubleshooting step and will fix many issues. You will not lose any data when you do a restart.

Hi, @Pennyp0033 if you have synced your Fitbit and it is still showing the wrong time on your watch face, please go to your app and on the front page click on the person / photo icon top left to take you to the account screen.
On the account screen choose “app settings” and then “time zone”. Check what time zone is displayed. If it is the wrong time zone, please turn off “select automatically”, change to the correct time zone, save, and sync. If your Fitbit does not update try the sync again. You may also need to restart your Fitbit to force a sync.
Alternatively if the time zone shown is correct , please change the time zone to any incorrect time zone, and then sync your Fitbit. Once you have confirmed the sync, return to the time zone settings on the app, next choose the correct timezone, and sync again.
That should fix it. I know it sounds odd, but I have been travelling across time zones with Fitbits for 8 years now and sometimes the update just happens, but more often than not it needs a bit of nudging and tweaking.
(Well, tbf, I do too, when I change time zones…)
I hope this helps. Let me know if anything is unclear.

More users have this problem. After setting timezone right, location right, several syncs and restarts it still does not come back to the right time.
No solutions yet and no help from fitbit. A shame.

Hi, @Gerda12345 , if your timezone is correctly set and your Fitbit has synced and it is still showing the wrong time, please follow the following steps, which should fix your issue:
On your app return to the time zone setting. Choose any WRONG timezone and then sync your Fitbit. Make sure it really does sync.
Next go back again to the timezone setting and this time choose the correct timezone. Sync your Fitbit again (and again make sure it syncs). Now your clock setting should show the correct time.
I travel and change time zones regularly with my Fitbit. Sometimes it updates as it should, but when it does not, the little trick I have described here, unlikely as it sounds, always fixes it.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
