So, after doing an update that comes from Fitbit, my Charge 5 cannot hold a charge for longer than 6 hours. And according to fitbit, I should just buy another one. WOW! What customer service.

Since doing the update
i have a blank screen that does not reset
so I can’t see the screen. It will However track stats for s short while. The battery then gets drained and Fitbit stops working. This is 13 months old and just out of guarantee. So I am not happy. It seems common with every Fitbit I have had in the past. They only seem to work for just over a year.

I'm experiencing the same issue. After the update the battery drains and does not keep a charge. It was working great before then. As of today, it no longer charges. Anyway to roll-back the update?

My watch also went black today after the update. I have tried to rest. Anyone find a solution yet!

I totally agree that the Fitbit charge 5 never works after a firmware update is done. It’s time for me to make a break with Fitbit and look for a device that counts my steps, flights of stairs, mileage and doesn’t have mindfulness, pay, and pointless things I don’t need a tracker for.

Agreed. I have removed Fitbit from my phone and will not buy another one as this is the second time this has happened to me.
To those of you experiencing the same problem, PLEASE do reviews on Amazon, Walmart etc. Anywhere you can leave a review and let people know that this does happen.
I had hoped with Google taking over Fit bit that I would not experience the same poor customer service I had experienced before. I guess not.
Frankly, I am surprised this post got left up here.
