Charge 5 doesn't track distance accurately on app

Hi there -

I've worn a Charge 4 for years and no problems.

This new Charge 5 has been worn for less than two weeks and consistently miscalculates my distance vis-à-vis the app and my daily goal. For ex., my daily goal is 10km --- the other day I walked over 12 km, but the app icon showed I'd walked LESS than 75% of my daily goal...!?

I've had two long - and unsuccessful - calls w/ fitbit support - and am now considering returning this Charge 5.

Any suggestions from anyone else dealing with this issue?

Anyone know how long it takes FITBIT to actually reply and offer effective solutions?
