I've had my charge 5 for just over a year now (so the warranty just expired). A couple days ago it showed a red circle with a white X in it. I tried rebooting it with the charging cord and ever since then, it has been on a perpetual reboot loop. The battery never gets above 20% and it's been charging for over 24 hours. I contacted customer support, but they told me that it's defective and won't replace it because the warranty has expired. This just seems odd to me. If it's a software issue, there should be a way to fix it. I can't afford a new one because I'm dirt poor after Christmas. I really liked it and would be sad to have to leave fitbit behind because of a software glitch. Is there anything I can do?
