Charge 5 draining the battery quickly

So my watch said low battery , I have charged it and both watch and app said 99 per cent charge.  Go to wear the watch and it’s dead . Attach to charger and it’s says it’s on 1 per cent again.

 

I have tried this again and same result .

I contacted support via chat , as it was within the warranty period and they ascertained that like you it vibrated and the Fitbit logo appeared they offered me a replacement .

Go onto their chat and state you have tried all the recommended solutions and you want to know what hat they are offering as it’s under warranty .

I’m suddenly having battery issues too. Looks like others are too.  Mine worked perfectly up until Friday. Then the battery suddenly lost a charge. I tried the reset numerous times yesterday and had it on the charger most of the day. Battery would go from a full charge to less than 20% in an hour. I normally only charge it every 4 or 5 days. Support chat couldn’t fix it. I’m past my original warranty so all I got was a discount code for a new one. This was a replacement that I’ve only had since the summer of 2022. My first charge 5 was purchased in Nov 2021 and died after wearing it in the pool last summer. So neither charge 5 has lasted me a year.

I haven’t had mine for many months so it looks like I will have to contact customer service . Does anyone have a contact email or know the procedure

Same for me Lindyloo ... have had Charge 5 for less than 2 months. Worked fine until last night. Stopped working and can't get into it at all. Have tried restarts as noted in Cust Support ... nothing works. All I see now and then is the insignia appear on the screen momentarily and then it's gone. Last night, after being plugged in for hours, all that was on screen was red circle with a big red X in it. Called support, but not helpful yet ... clean and wait half an hour and then call back: not helpful at all. If it wasn't charging all along, neither the insignia or the X would have appeared to me! Hope I'm wrong, and hope they help you quickly.
