When I have logged an exercise or walk via the watch, this is being duplicated on the app. I have all auto recognise switched off on the exercises and have reset the fit bit and this issue remains. Very annoying to have to then go into app and remove duplicate entries....

Thank you for sharing all this information about what you're experiencing with the duplicate activities.
If you're still seeing duplicate activities, please try the following steps:
In addition to the steps mentioned earlier, please try restarting your device using the charging cable. Make sure to check if you have MobileTrack installed on the Fitbit app? This feature allows you to record basic stats such as steps using your phone's sensors. Assuming this is correct, I'd recommend removing it by doing the following:
