After getting caught in the rain with my smartphone I decided to get a tracker. I had and loved my old Garmin f

Forerunner, but it finally gave in, and I decided to try a Fitbit since they were less pricey.

Well, I guess you get what you pay for. The first time I hit 10,000 steps the watch vibrated so violently I lost feeling in my hand for about an hour, and apparently there's no way at all to turn this off. I was also walking on some slick ground and fell when I jumped, which injured me. But apparently the only way to change any of this is to set the goal so high I'll never meet it, which basically makes the entire point of setting a goal totally worthless. So basically the only option to make the product work for me is to use it as little as possible, exclusively when I am running and to not wear it throughout the day or rely on it to do anything but track my runs in any way, in which case it's a waste of money since they're a far cheaper products with a built-in GPS I could have bought.

In addition to this, this watch is just gunked up with a lot of junk that I don't need and can't remove. I don't have notifications turned on on my phone, so I don't know why I would want them on my watch either, but you can't remove any of this from the actual watch.

I've gone around with support and they want to blame me, my charger, the store I bought the watch at, basically every single other thing outside their **ahem** product for lacking basic features like being able to turn vibration off. I found the workarounds on this forum, which basically just means disabling most of the watches features that I actually do want in order to be able to safely wear it. The only option that I've been left with unfortunately is that I need to use the watch exclusively as a run tracker and avoid wearing it at any other time to make sure that I don't run up any goals and accidentally have it buzz me so bad that my fingers go numb or scare me at my job and cause me to fall off of a ladder.

I really regret  ot just getting a Garmin, and will switch once this thing dies and maybe even before honestly. I just wish I'd done more research, I wouldn't have bought such an inferior product to begin with to see a few bucks.
