I’ve been having the same id
sue for days. Seems to be a known problem affecting a lot of users, but I don’t think there’s a solution yet. If your Fitbit is under warranty I’d definitely contact them.

Welcome to the club. This has been an ongoing issue for many people. This was caused by a firmware update that Fitbit refuses to fix, give an update on or take responsibility for.
My advice would be to look for a different brand fitness tracker as Fitbit has given us no reason to trust them going forward. If you contact tech support they might be able to send you a new device if yours is in warranty or they may give you 50% off a new one.

When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery drain, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I noticed the battery% dropping, I'd restart and recharge my Fitbit, often multiple times in a day. This process eventually got my Charge 5 "unstuck" and the battery life went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work, it might be worth a try.
