Since my charge 5 has minimal use, just the clock, I haven't worn it for several days. Pulled it out of storage today, and to my surprise I burned 1000 calories just by picking it up. Perfect

@Appian926 Fitbit records your BMR calories to your account even if you aren't wearing your device. If you open a new account in the afternoon and set up a device, your account will have your BMR calories for the whole day. It's just how Fitbit does this.

In fact it will have your calories - based on your BMR - as far back as you care to scroll.
