Hi all,
I am facing this issue where my Fitbit charge 5 is off by 5 hours. I have tried everything on the app:
1.Setting my time zone to automatic (which was default) and syncing.
2. Restarting the Fitbit and syncing
3. Manually setting my time zone and syncing.
4. Changing the time zone to a different location and syncing and changing it back to my current time zone syncing. (It neither changed the time as per the new time zone, nor to my original time zone.)
Seems I have exhausted my options... Is there something else I can try?

Hello guys, welcome back to the Fitbit Community!
I appreciate you letting me know about this situation in regards to the hour not syncing on your Charge 5 devices. I know the impact this may have caused, but good news, this has been solved and I'm positive the following steps will help you improve the situation:
You can check more information here.

It seems like many timezone settings are defaulting to GMT, certainly all in Asia, which is a fairly wide span plus some in Africa. Looks like a Google screw up to me

I'm in Bangkok and out by 7 hours!! Been in Thailand for months but suddenly my Charge 5 is showing UK time.

Not sure if it's a sudden issue.
I'm in Singapore and when I set to Singapore (+8), it resorts to UK time (i.e. GMT+0). But when I switch to another +8 timezone (e.g. Hong Kong), it's ok.
So for the meantime, try finding another country with the same GMT +X as your country, a different country might work for the moment.

Same issue is faced by me. Time is off by 5:30 hours for me. The display shows only GMT.
I unnecessarily did restore factory settings when sync and other workarounds did the work. I should have first looked here on forum.

I'm also having the same issue and have tried all of the above. I notice though that the time in the app and time associated with the data still seems correct. Only the fitbit is displaying the wrong time.

Hi,
I am in Singapore and I have the same problem. It also started today. My time is off by 4 hours and I tried all the methods you tried and similarly, no use. Looks like it's not a watch problem .... hopefully Google will sort this out for us.

Fitbit app is setting +7 timezones to GMT time on charge 5. All other tested timezones have no issues and set correct time on devices. Incorrect time display for +7 timezones started about 11:00 GMT.

It seems that I'm not alone. This is also happening for other Fitbit devices, like the Charge 6, and I bet it's happening to lots of people.
Btw, I'm in Argentina (GMT+3), but my Charge 5 is showing the GMT's timezone.
