My Charge 5 is not tracking my total daily movement correctly. This has been happening for about a month or so. Example today, I had about 800 steps due to normal movement. Then I went for a 4 mile walk. I have roughly 2000 steps in a mile, so normally I would have 8000 steps when my walk is completed plus the 800 should be roughly 8800 steps. My Fitbit reflected over 17000 steps and over 7 miles. Under the activity it had the accurate 4 miles and normal steps for that distance. I’ve also had days where I’ve done my 4 miles but the total miles is 1/2 the distance. I have done resets a number of times. Is anyone else having issues like this? How do I fix it????
thank you
Leslie

Welcome back to the Fitbit Community, @Lilymaize.
Thanks for explaining your situation with the steps and distance tracking of your Charge 5. Thanks for resetting your Charge 5 to help improve this situation.
I recommend you to check 'What can I do if my step count seems inaccurate?', this part of the article will help you, I'm positive about that. It will help you with both the steps count and distance.
