Charge 5 heart rate blank, EKG error

So first my charge 5 died out of nowhere.

I charged it back to 100% and now the heart rate won't register. I've disconnected it from my phone, cleared user data, cleaned the back of the tracker, reset the tracker, force stopped the app on my phone, manual synced, EVERYTHING. 

It worked this morning after a workout but hasn't since about 7am EST. it's currently 948pm EST and the heart rate and EKG don't work. I get an error message whenever I try to use the EKG app. And I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. I just got this in July of this year. Do I need a replacement already?
