i must start by saying I have owned a number of charge devices, 3,4 and 5. By and large I like them, however my frustration with the reliability is getting to the point where i will be looking elsewhere other than fitbit.
I have no complaint about customer services who have always been great, and when necessary i have been sent replacements, I am very confused as to why the problem of the charge "going blank", no screen, wont charge, is still happening. As i said at the outset i like the charge device. In fact if it hadn't been for my charge 5, I would be in serious problems ( or worse) health wise.. I had no symptoms, ie chest pain, palpitations etc, but my charge picked up my BPM at rest was in the 130/140s. over extended periods of time. Long story short, after spending a night in the resus unit in hospital i was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation., put on beta blockers and blood thinners and discharged with no other monitoring. I was so thankful for my charge, at least i could monitor the situation. Despite the medication, BPM still was high, and erratic ( exercise resulted in heart rate actually going down !!!) Medication is now 5 times higher than when i left hospital, and situation still erratic. Following same old issue I am again waiting for a replacement charge 5, i hope it arrives soon, so i can monitor the situation....

Thank you for sharing your story about how your Charge 5 helped identify your health issue and that you were able to get medical treatment. Despite the issues with the devices, these are the times where it makes a big difference in helping us by identifying potential health issues.

Yes replacement charge5 received within 48 hours, a great service..However, I'm hoping the same problem that has seen me receiving three replacements, will be resolved soon, so I can look forward to prolonged use.
