I have had a charge 5 since March 2022 and I hate it, it doesn't sync, I have reset it so many times and it is a constant problem, it is so buggy, that the current time it is showing is 11:20 am, BUT IT IS ACTUALLY 11:51 am, how the hell is it 31 minutes slow????
And yet some how shows the number of steps but refuses to sync or connect for the firmware update or fix the time, it is absolutely unusable garbage!! I don't know what happened to this company when google bought it but it was not good!!

get it replaced before warranty runs out - you might, MIGHT get one that works. I should have done same earlier - like you i waited and now even though i got did not get full year of use - they say it is out of warranty. I went through 4 Fitbit charge 5s - would have been 9 if i had sent in right away -
