This was after I accidently wore it in the shower once. Wears the battery down and buzzes my wrist.

Ok so I would make sure that any residual water is drained out of the battery first, as there might be water damage. You can easily do this by leaving the device in white rice. The rice acts as a starch to dry the water out.
Next, I would try a reset, which can be done by plugging your device into a computer and pressing the small black button on the base of the charger several times. You'll have to take brief pauses every 3-4 seconds. Once it vibrates and you see the Fitbit logo, the restart was successful.
If that doesn't work, I would do a factory reset.
Finally, if all else fails, I would contact Support (link is at the bottom of the page).
